Day 01: Delhi Begin your tour. Arrive into Delhi. Welcome
to Vardhman's "North East India Wildlife Tour"! On arrival in Delhi,
you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Later
proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi. Combined city tour of New & Old
Delhi Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught place,
the shopping centre of New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal
Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat
and Shanti Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Overnight: Hotel
Day 02: Delhi - Sariska This morning after breakfast drive to
Sariska. On arrival check-in at the hotel. The Sariska Tiger reserve is dominated
by sharp cliffs and narrow valleys of the Aravali mountain ranges. Sariska
National Park: The Sariska tiger reserve is mainly known for its exotic wildlife.
The rich wildlife of the sanctuary includes Tiger, Leopard, Caracal, Rusty spotted
cat, Jungle cat, Four-horned antelope, Sambar, Spotted deer, Wild boar, Nilgai,
Jackal, Hyena, etc. Overnight: Hotel Day 03: Sariska - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, enroute visiting the Amber Fort built by Raja
Man Singh, Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh. On arrival, check-in at the
hotel. Later proceed on a City tour of Jaipur. Experience the wonders of this
magicial pink city, as you proceed on a tour of Amber fort. (optional: Elephant
Safari/Price not included). Later visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory glitterning
with mirrors, Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal
or the Palace of Winds and through the rose pink residential and business areas
of Jaipur. Overnight: Hotel Day 04: Jaipur- Ranthambore
In the morning drive down to Sawai Madhopur, popular for the Ranthambore Tiger
Reserve. On arrival, check into your hotel. In Ranthambhore NP sambar,Cheetal,Chinkara,Nilgai,wildboar,&
common langoor provide good spectrum of prey for the Tigers. It is a 514 sqr.
Kms. Of unique habitat of dry deciduous forests over 300 species of birds. Afternoon
game viewing by Jeeps Safari. Overnight: Hotel Day 05: Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park: One of the best places to witness the rich
wildlife of India. Situated at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range,
the park is spread over an area of approximately 400 sq km. As far as the origin
of the park is concerned, it was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957. Later,
in 1981, it was given the status of a National Park.The Ranthambhore Wildlife
Sanctuary of India remains open every year from October to Mid June. Full
day game viewing inside the jungle. (Two safaris) Overnight : Hotel Day
06: Ranthambore Spend the day at the national park observing the large
herds of Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare and Monitor
Lizards. Overnight: Hotel Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
After breakfast drive to Bharatpur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
Bharat Pur Wildlife Sanctuary: Originally a duck shooting preserve of Maharaja
Suraj Mull of Bharatpur, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary of Rajasthan was declared
a national park in 1982. Later, in 1985, it was listed as a World Heritage site
by Unesco. At present, the Rajasthan Keoladeo Ghana National Park serves as one
of the chief breeding and feed grounds for the birds around the world. The Bharat
Pur Wildlife Sanctuary, of Rajasthan, houses approximately 300 species of birds.
Amongst them, the most prominent ones are Painted Storks, Open and Spoon Bills,
Egrets, Cormorants, White Ibis, Jacanas, While Harriers, Fishing Eagles, Pied
Kingfisher, etc. However, the most awaited species of birds is the Siberian Crane.
Apart from Iran, India is the only place where this bird migrates in winter.
Overnight: Hotel Day 08: Bharatpur Fullday birdwatching inside
the Sanctuary. At this national park you can also enjoy a boat ride and have a
better look at the colonies of birds, which reside in the interiors of the park.
Overnight: Hotel Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra Morning drive to the
Romantic City of Taj Mahal- Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Check into your
hotel upon arrival. Freshen-up and then proceed to visit the Romantic City.
Visit the Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, massive Agra
Fort. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and
Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques &
private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. The Moti Masjid
& other magnificent buildings reflect the skill of the ancient Indian architects.
Overnight : Hotel Day 10: Agra -Jhansi- Khajuraho Morning transfer
to railway station to board train for Jhansi 0825 hrs. - Leave for Jhansi
by Shatabdi Express 1100 hrs. - Arrive Jhansi and drive to Khajuraho. Check
into your hotel upon arrival. Relax for a while and later visit Khajuraho
Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between
950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated
to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely
image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha
Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the
Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain
Temple surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls
of the Sanctum, the Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this
group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Overnight: Hotel
Day 11: Khajuraho- Bandhavgarh This morning after breakfast drive
to Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh. Check into your hotel upon arrival.
Evening jungle excursion to explore the wildlife, flora and fauna within
the national park. Overnight: Hotel Day 12: Bandhavgarh
Bandhavgarh National Park: It is one of the most exotic wildlife destinations
in India. An erstwhile game reserve of the royal family of Rewa, Bandhavgarh got
recognition as a wildlife park in 1968, when the Maharaja of Rewa bequeathed the
park to the Government. Initially the park stretched to 105.40-sq-kms in area,
with 25 resident tigers forming its prime attraction. Visiting Bandhavgarh and
trailing tigers on Elephant Safari or cutting through the jungle tracks in a jeep
(Jeep Safari) promises to give you one of the best wildlife experiences in the

Hotel Day 13: Bandhavgarh - Kanha Morning drive to Kanha National
Park - a tiger reserve that extends over 1945 sq. km. of undulating country in
Madhya Pradesh. Evening at leisure. A full day game viewing inside the jungle.
(Two safaris) Overnight: Hotel Day 14: Kanha Full day free
to visit the Kanha national Park for wildlife viewing. Morning and evening
jungle excursion, nature walks and Elephant rides in the National Park and Tiger
Reserve in the Mandala district of Madhya Pradesh. Overnight: Hotel Day
15: Kanha Full day free to visit the Kanha national Park for wildlife
viewing. Morning and evening jungle excursion, nature walks and Elephant
rides to observe the large herds of the rare Barasingha and Swamp deer. .
Overnight: Hotel Day 16: Kanha - Nagpur Morning free to visit
Kanha National Park. Later transfer to Nagpur Upon arrival check into your
hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 17: Nagpur - Bhubaneshwar Morning
after breakfast transfer to Nagpur airport to board flight for Bhubaneshwar. Upon
arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Bhubaneswar:
It is the capital city of Orissa, is situated in its eastern side. The city boasts
of majestic temples and shrines, which form a major part of its tourist attractions.
It serves as the perfect example of the fusion of age-old customs and traditions
and modern aspirations. Relax for a while and later proceed on an Excursion
to Konark Temple. Konark Sun temple, UNESCO World Heritage Sites : It is one
of the most popular tourist attractions of Konark. The credit for constructing
this 13th century old shrine, dedicated to Sun God, goes to Raja Narsimhadeva
of the Ganga dynasty. Konark Sun Temple has been built in the form of a gigantic
chariot that has 24 wheels. Each of the wheels is nearly 10 feet in diameter.
The chariot is drawn by seven horses. The temple, adorned with intricate and exquisite
sculptural work, holds the distinction of being one of the few UNESCO World Heritage
Sites in India. Overnight: Hotel Day 18: Bhubaneshwar - Kolkata
On the day 18 of your tour transfer to Bhuwaneshwar airport to catch flight for
Calcutta/Kolkata. Afternoon sightseeing of Calcutta seeing the Indian Museum,
Victoria Memorial Hall, Mother Teresa's Home, Kali Bari and Howrah Bridge.
Overnight : Hotel Day 19: Kolkata - Guwahati - Kaziranga This
morning after breakfast transfer to airport to catch flight for Guwahati. Upon
arrival,you will be met and transferred to Kaziranga National Park by our representative.
Check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Kaziranga National Park : Kaziranaga
National Park is lying along the mighty Brahmaputra river covers an area of about
430-sq-kms. Its swamps and grasslands with tall thickets of elephant grass and
patches of ever green forest support the largest number of Rhino population in
the whole of Indian subcontinent. Once reached to an alarming point due to hunting
and poaching, this area came under wildlife conservation in 1926 and in 1940,
Kaziranga was declared a sanctuary. In Assam, their Rhino habitat is limited to
just two national parks - Kaziranga and Manas. Overnight : Hotel Day
20: Kaziranga Spend the day at the national park where you can see some
of the rare species. Here you will find the Oriental Honey Buzzard, Black-Shouldered
Kite, Black Kite, Brahminy Kite, Pallas's Fishing Eagle, White Tailed Eagle, Grey-Headed
Fishing Eagle, Himalayan Griffon, etc. Huge numbers of migratory birds descend
on the parks lakes and marshy areas during winters, including Greylag Geese, Bar-Headed
Geese, Ruddy Shelduck, Gadwall, Falcated Duck, Red-Crested Pochard and Northern
Shoveller. Overnight: Hotel Day 20: Kaziranga Full
day free to visit Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy morning and evening jungle rides
