Arrive into Delhi Welcome to Vardhman's "Special Birding Tour with Ornithologist"!
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 02:
Delhi - Corbett On the day 2 of your tour drive to CORBETT National Park.
On the way visit Ramnagar and look for the fabulous IBISBILL amongst the riverside
boulders. Later proceed for an afternoon to KOSI riverbanks. Rest of the day at
leisure. Jim Corbett National Park used to be just another Himalayan forest
until in 1936 it was demarcated as a reserve area by the British Government. Jim
Corbett Park is spread over 520 sq kms and is covered with huge stretches of Savannah
type grasslands and Sal forests. In 1957 this place was renamed as Jim Corbett
National Park from Hailey national Park. It was declared as an almost exclusive
Tiger Reserve on 1st April 1973 with the help of World Wildlife Fund. Since the
place is situated on the lower Himalayan belt of vegetation, it is an eco-tourism
spot too. Overnight: Hotel/Camp Day 03: Corbett After breakfast

Day 06: Corbett National Park - Nainital After a leisurely
breakfast proceed for Nainital. Here Lammergeirs and Himalayan Grifon Vultures
soar overhead. Reach by late afternoon and enjoy the evening birding around the
resort.. This morning depart Corbett for Nainital (120 km) stopping en route
for birding. Nainital, also known as the Lake District of Uttarakhand, is an absolutely
beautiful and tranquil hill station situated amongst the seven hills. It is one
of the most popular hill stations in North India. Arrive Nainital and check
in at hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day. Overnight: Hotel Day
07: Nainital After leisurly breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Nanital.
Naini Lake : Naini Lake or Naini Taal, the picturesque blue green lake. It is
from this lake that the city of Nainital, the beautiful settlement by the lake,
derives its name. Naini Lake is so called because of its eye-like shape. Naina
Peak : Known as the China peak this peak is the highest point in Nainital. From
here Nainital appears as a bowl. You can walk or take ponies to the peak. From
this peak you can capture the exciting views of Nainital. Naina peak also gives
a good view of the Camelback peak. Sat Tal Sat Tal is located at around
23 kms from Nainital. It is by all accounts an unforgettable spot with its huge
and ancient Oak trees amidst the group of lakes. It is often compared to the Westmoreland
area of England. Overnight: Hotel Day 08 Nainital This
morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Nainital. Zoo Gardens
: Naini Tal has a small but a very beautiful Zoological garden. There are many
animals kept here which includes Deers, Bears, Tigers and many more. The hygiene
and cleanness of the zoo is a point which attracts the mind even if one ignores
it. Not surprising this zoo is one of the most clean zoos in the country. The
zoo can be reached on foot or taxi can be hired. Bhimtal Bhimtal is located
about 22 kms from Nainital and 11 Kms. from Bhowali. One can see the 17th Century
Bhimeshwar temple, the 40 ft high dam and the boat in the Bhimtal Lake. Naukuchiya
Tal Naukuchiya Tal is an appealing cavernous spotless lake situated 26 kms
from Nainital. The dimensions of the lake are 983 m (length), 693 m (breadth)
and 40.3 m (depth) providing sufficient possibilities for rowing, paddling or
yachting. Snow View Snow View is one of the most popular tourist attractions
of Naintal. It is situated on top of Sherkhanda ridge, at an altitude of 7,448
feet (2,270 meters) above sea level. Overnight: Hotel Day 09 Nainital
- Delhi After breakfast drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi check
into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day
10: Delhi - Agra - Bharatpur After breakfast proceed to Bharatpur via
Agra. Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula.
Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers
an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles,
truly a one stop shop. Continue drive to Bharatpur. Reach and check in at
the hotel. Overnight: Hotel Day 11: Bharatpur After breakfast
proceed for viewing the birding on Richshaw. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Bharat Pur Wildlife Sanctuary: Originally a duck shooting preserve of Maharaja
Suraj Mull of Bharatpur, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary of Rajasthan was declared
a national park in 1982. Later, in 1985, it was listed as a World Heritage site
by Unesco. At present, the Rajasthan Keoladeo Ghana National Park serves as one
of the chief breeding and feed grounds for the birds around the world. The Bharat
Pur Wildlife Sanctuary, of Rajasthan, houses approximately 300 species of birds.
Amongst them, the most prominent ones are Painted Storks, Open and Spoon Bills,
Egrets, Cormorants, White Ibis, Jacanas, While Harriers, Fishing Eagles, Pied
Kingfisher, etc. However, the most awaited species of birds is the Siberian Crane.
Apart from Iran, India is the only place where this bird migrates in winter.
Bharatpur sanctuary remains open throughout the year from sunrise to sunset.
Overnight: Hotel Day 12: Bharatpur Full day birding inside the
Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Keoladeo National Park/wildlife Sanctuary:
It is famous as bird's paradise, with over 380 resident and migrant species of
birds, including the Common, Demoiselle and the rare Siberian Cranes. The Keoladeo
Ghana National Park is also an excellent place to spot mammals like Golden Jackal,
Jungle Cat, Striped Hyaena, Sambar, Fishing Cat, Nilgai, Blackbuck and wild Boar.
In 1981, Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary was given the status of National Park.
The name Keoladeo has been derived from a nearby ancient Hindu temple, devoted
to Lord Shiva. The best time to visit the Park is either early morning or
in the evening. Overnight: Hotel Day 13: Bharatpur - Delhi
After breakfast you can enjoy birding in the park and then start for Delhi
in the afternoon. Reach and check into your hotel. Relax for the remaining
part of the day. Overnight: Hotel Day 14: Delhi - Nagpur - Kanha
After breakfast transfer to Delhi airport to catch the flight for Nagpur.
On arrival at Nagpur airport, you will be met and transferred directly to Kanha
by our representative. Reach in the afternoon and check at the hotel. Overnight:
Hotel Day 15: Kanha This morning after breakfast proceed for
enjoy a full day game viewing inside the jungle. (Two safaris) Overnight:

breakfast transfer to Nagpur airport to catch flight for Delhi. On arrival at
Delhi domestic airport transfer to Delhi International airport (through Shuttle
services available free of cost at the airport) to board the flight for your onward
